Rimland Review is a media platform focusing on international relations.
Our aim is to examine international and regional developments through their historical, political, and geopolitical dimensions, producing evidence-based analyses and making research accessible to a wider audience.
Rimland Review is an initiative led by master's students and early-career researchers from different universities, bringing together academic research and media production. The platform also provides a space for emerging researchers to publish their work, develop their expertise, and contribute to public debates on international affairs.
Our Research Areas
Our main areas of research include international relations, geopolitics, energy, technology, security and defence policy with a particular focus on Türkiye and its surrounding regions. We examine these subjects through states’ foreign policy choices, regional developments, and international power relations.
Our Publications
Rimland Review publishes analytical articles, research reports, policy briefs, long-form video analyses, geopolitical documentaries, and interviews with researchers and subject-matter experts.
In our written publications, we place particular emphasis on reliable sources and analytical rigour. Through our audiovisual content, published primarily on YouTube and other digital platforms, we aim to make academic research and geopolitical analysis more accessible to the general public.
Our content is published in Turkish, English, and French.
Our Team and Collaborations
Rimland Review’s team consists primarily of master's students in international relations and political science, alongside early-career researchers working on specific regions and areas of expertise.
Our platform welcomes contributions from students, researchers, academics, and subject-matter experts. We seek to establish collaborations with universities, research institutions, and independent specialists through joint research projects, publications, interviews, and documentary productions.
