Researcher focused on Central Asia

Lyubov Makusheva

Master Student at Sciences Po Paris majoring in International Development

Lyubov is a Kazakhstani student at Sciences Po Paris, pursuing a Master’s degree in International Development after completing her undergraduate studies in Economics and Sociology at Sciences Po Nancy.

With an academic background in European affairs and international relations, she is particularly interested in Central Asian politics, regional cooperation, sustainable development, and the intersection of economic transformation and environmental policy.

Having grown up in Kazakhstan and studied in both France and Germany, she brings a cross-regional perspective to her work. She aims to explore the political, economic, and social dynamics shaping Central Asia, placing regional developments in broader international context.
